Chris Eubank Jr says his battle cancellation is “surreal” after it was known as off due to medical considerations for his opponent Anatoli Muratov.
Muratov had been a late alternative for Sven Elbir, who examined constructive for Covid.
Eubank, 32, confirmed he shall be preventing once more in two weeks’ time.
“Nothing like this has ever occurred in my profession. First opponent will get Covid, second opponent fails a medical the day of the battle.” Eubank informed Sky Sports activities.
“It is surreal. It does not appear actual. Every part occurs for a cause and the plan now’s to battle in two weeks’ time.”
Eubank’s opponent has not but been confirmed.
The cancellation meant Liam Taylor’s battle with David Avanesyan turned the headline bout at Wembley. The Russian stopped the British fighter within the second spherical to defend his European welterweight title.
