Lorena Wiebes gained stage 4 of the Ladies’s Tour of Britain after an uphill dash end in Southend.

Crew DSM’s Wiebes, 22, overhauled Chiara Consonni to say victory, with the Italian holding on to second, simply forward of Australia’s Chloe Hosking.

It’s the Dutch rider’s first Ladies’s Tour stage win.
